Snow Removal Near You in Milton, ON

HomeStars' Canadian price guide lists about $30–$90 per visit for a standard driveway ($85–$175+ for long or large driveways) and about $350–$1,000+ for a seasonal driveway contract. Roof snow removal is priced separately, at roughly $200–$1,000+. These are planning ranges only — ask for a written quote, and check whether HST is included.

Get the terms in writing: the start and end dates of the season, how much snowfall triggers a visit, how soon after a storm the crew arrives, and whether walkways, steps, the public sidewalk, the snowbank the road plow leaves at the end of your driveway, and salting are included. Ask about extra charges for heavy storms or mid-season changes.

Some municipalities require owners or occupants to clear the public sidewalk next to their property within a set time after a snowfall — check Milton's snow bylaw and whether your contract covers it. Ontario's Highway Traffic Act prohibits depositing snow on a roadway without permission, so ask where the crew will pile the snow. Ask for proof of liability insurance: Ontario law generally requires written notice within 60 days for a personal-injury claim caused by snow or ice, and notice may be given to the occupier or the snow removal contractor.
